Connection Tab

The Connection tab provides the controls to set up connections to the Ethernet, Serial Port, GPI, and SNMP.

  1. Network – Set the network parameters for the DPM including IP address, Subnet, and Gateway. Additionally, a network password can be set to limit Ethernet access to DPM control.
  2. Serial Port – Set the Baud rate for the serial port connection
  3. Automation GPI Configuration – These settings can only be adjusted in Design mode. Sets the actions that will be triggered when the corresponding GPI input is pulled to the selected trigger level (High or Low). Options include:
    1. Recall Preset – the selected preset will be activated when the selected trigger level is detected. This selection can be overridden by the front panel preset selection or other automation inputs.
    2. Master Mute – all output channels are muted when the selected trigger level is detected and unmuted when switched to the other level. This can be overridden by the front panel Mute button or other automation inputs.
    3. Fire Alarm Mute – all output channels are muted when the GPI is at the selected trigger level and cannot be unmuted until the GPI is no longer at that level.
    4. Priority Preset – the selected preset is activated when the GPI is at the selected trigger level and the preset cannot be changed until the GPI is no longer at that level. Once the GPI input is no longer at the selected trigger level, the preset that was active prior to the priority preset activation will be restored.
    5. Mic Control – the Mic input is routed to the Center channel input when the GPI is at the selected trigger level. When the GPI input is deactivated, the Center channel input is driven by the appropriate input for the active preset.
  4. SNMP Configuration – These settings can only be adjusted when in Live mode. The DPM supports network control and monitoring via SNMP. Through SNMP you may monitor amp status, amp fault counters, as well as other fault conditions. You may view the current system settings including the active preset, current input source and format, serial number, and firmware version. You may also control the master volume and mute, active preset, and bypass mode.

SNMP Identity

Click “Edit” to change the name, contact, and location to help you identify the DPM to be monitored.

SNMP Operation Mode

Select the level of SNMP access appropriate to your network.

NOTE:  Only SNMP version 1 is supported at this time.

Trap Settings

Traps are important notifications that are sent to network managers when their state changes instead of being constantly polled. You will need to specify one or more management hosts to receive that notification. A maximum of 4 host address may be specified. Check the box next to traps you wish send to these network management hosts.
